20 Minutes from Auschwitz

Jude WilliamsFilmed at Limmud Conference 2012

Jewish history is better expressed as Jewish memory. Memory suggests an active process, something personal and meaningful. As a so called ‘second generation survivor’, I’d like to share the weight and meaning of what having a Jewish memory of the Holocaust has meant to me.

Jude Williams has spent the past five years as Chief Executive at Tzedek, the British Jewish community’s international development charity. Jude has worked and studied in Israel and the UK. Working as a Jewish educator with youth and young adults and directing programmes in both countries.
