The original inspiration for JDOV, TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. TED

ELI Talks

Like JDOV, ELI talks are highly produced, 12-minute presentations on “inspired Jewish ideas.” The talks explore the central themes of Jewish literacy, religious engagement and identity, presented in light of their presenter’s own work, personal experiences, or Jewish or secular texts. ELI Talks

The Forward

JDOV’s partner since it was founded, Limmud is an international charity based in the UK which has inspired over 80 Limmud groups across the world, organising conferences and events which promise to take you one step further on your Jewish journey. Limmud

Judaism Unbound, a project of the Institute for the Next Jewish Future, catalyzes and supports grassroots efforts by “disaffected but hopeful” American Jews to re-imagine and re-design Jewish life in America for the 21st Century, including though a weekly podcast, Facebook, and other digital resources.
